About Me
I’m a retired newspaper reporter in a small southwestern Missouri town. I’ve been married 30 years to a wonderful woman who sometimes tries to drive me insane, but then everybody needs a hobby.
Over on the left is my high school senior picture. Yeah, I know. Don’t rub it in.

I came over to check your blog out from the link on HOI. Once again I am amazed at how small the world is. Stupid me. I had been seeing your user name on Manly Grub and figuring Nevada like, you know, Las Vegas. Wow. Now I discover it is Nevada like south of Butler. Sheesh. I spent a good part of my life there doing stuff on Clark.
Back in another life I used to live in Harrisonville. Feel free to email if you want. I am writing this from just outside the town of Chitre, Rep. of Panama.
Take care, I’ll be checking in from time to time. I feel it’s important to keep the old homeboys in line. he

We’ve got a lot of Peculiar names here. You can go from Louisiana to California to Mexico without leaving the state. As for keeping me in line, trust me, the wife does a REALLY good job at that. Thanks for stopping by.
